Rolling Stock Engineer (CO) - Neg.
Our client, one of the world's leading rail companies, is looking for a PRC native Rolling Stock Engineer to be based in Hong Kong.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
• Must be a PRC national but will not consider PRC nationals who are Hong Kong residents
• 8 to 12 years post degree experience in managing the design of rolling stock for large-scale railway projects in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Charter Engineer

• manage the design of rolling stock for new extension projects
• coordinate with other disciplines and relevant government statutory bodies to ensure that the design is completed in accordance with the Project Definition Documents
• participate in technical studies and industrial researches for the rolling stock
• prepare tender documents
• assess tender submissions
• review contactors' design submissions and resolve design issues when required
• take part in external consultancies relating to the design and implementation of the rolling stock

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Must be a PRC national but will not consider PRC nationals who are Hong Kong residents
• 8 to 12 years post degree experience in managing the design and construction of signalling works for large-scale railway projects in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Must possess proven experience in tender evaluation, design, implementation & testing and commissioning of a Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling system + Corporate Member of a recognised professional institution

• Carry out detailed engineering works for signalling contracts, including day-to-day liaison with relevant parties in the planning and coordination of site activities.
• Leading the review of design, installation and testing and commissioning submissions, you will monitor system tests and support contract administration

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• 8 to 12 years post degree experience in heavy civil engineering construction
• Exposure to tunnelling and/or drill and blast construction is preferred
• Charter Civil/Mining Engineer

• site supervision and inspection
• day-to-day contract administration
• maintaining and agreeing site records and liaising with relevant parties to keep up the progress of works

• tunnel excavation (plus related structures)
• support systems
• associated geotechnical works and traffic management scheme for compliance with the contract and verifications on site
